To install the Super Jet you will need a Mill (or drill press or hand drill), 1/4 inch mill end (or
drill), and a 1/2 inch mill end (if using a milling machine), Phillips screw driver, and JB Weld.
First, start by milling a 1.4 inch hole in the carburetor bell, then use the 1/2 inch mill end to put
a flat spot for the jet to rest on. If you are using a hand drill you will have to use a little more JB Weld to build it up. |
|
Next, place a good amount of JB Weld on the bottom lip of a
Super Jet, then slide it into the carb until it bottoms out. |
|
After you have set the Super Jet firmly into place, make sure to turn the jet so
that the inlet is pointed slightly toward the front of the carb. |
|
Finally, dril a #21 hole and tap 10/32. Install the barbed fitting using red Loctite. Allow
16 hours for the JB Weld to cure. |
